A word about pricing.  We are located on 5.124 acres within a horse community.  We are a registered farm in the state of Kentucky; however, our size does not permit us any real estate tax exemptions, subsidies through KY ag nor any other type of tax payer assistance.  Furthermore, we specialize in very rare, almost extinct fruit, vegetables and flowers.  We grow without the use of chemicals.  All planting, harvesting, processing and packaging is done by hand which requires our time so the CSA shares are priced to reflect this.  If you want to eat food how it should taste and not manipulated for color, uniformity, maturity or storage this CSA is for you.

FALL | WINTER CSA SIGN UP ONGOING

We are currently planting beets, cabbage, chard, radish, summer squash.  We have harvested "All Blue Blue" potatoes, "Early Ohio" potatoes, and "Purple Viking" Potatoes.  Ozette is a very rare fingerling which was planted late and will be harvested prior to first frost which is November 1 in our zone 6b gardens.  Dried beans are always available as a add on in addition to jams, jellies and preserves.  We also offer corn flour and corn meal ground to order as a add on and baked goods using farm raised fruits, vegetables and corn.

We no longer attend farmers markets so all pick-up is at the farm.  If you would like to subscribe but need delivery contact us; however, there will be a bi-weekly or monthly delivery fee in addition to the CSA fee.
