Repurposed Wheelbarrow Handle Vertical Coat Rack
One of our wheelbarrows gave up a few years ago and after disposing of the tire and the tray of the wheelbarrow we set aside all remaining parts for future projects when inspiration gives us a direction to move forward with.
This was a red wheelbarrow handle when originally purchased and has been naturally weathered to it's current patina with small remnants of the paint showing. All holes have been left as originally manufactured.

*Additional hardware required for mounting. We strongly recommend installing this hook into solid material, not hollow drywall. Mount using #6 pan head fastener and appropriate anchor, if needed. Different wall materials require different types of fasteners and anchors. Use hardware suitable for the walls in your home. If you are uncertain, contact a local hardware store or handyman service.*
Since this is a repurposed item and has been well used as it's intentional manufactured end produce of a wheelbarrow the handle itself is bowed and well weathered. Photographs clearly show this bowing but there is nothing we can do and feel it adds to the charm of the piece.
All hardware for mounting is included so you can hang right out of the box.
Instructions are also provided for installation.
One of the mounting holes is hidden behind a hook and the other is hidden with a bolt from the wheelbarrow hardware which we cut to fit and act as a plug.
This is a unique piece using what would have been farm waste.
The wood has (2) coats of BioShield Resin & Oil Stain Finish #3 Clear 00
